Quality Control Policy Statement
*Testing Methods*
At Gainey's Concrete Products, Inc., the single most important factor in quality control is management's committment to produce quality products. Management implements a quality control program that monitors quality and reports on conformance with requirements.
Concrete Slump Test A slump test is performed for each 150 cubic yards of concrete, or once per day, whichever comes first. Slump tests are performed in accordance with ASTM C143.
*Gainey's Concrete Products follows NPCA's Best Practices in Quality Guidelines.
*Gainey's Quality Program is qualified by the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development.
*Inspections*
Prepour Our Quality Control Inspector inspects each form (once set is complete) for proper blockout location, cage position, pallet height, and presence of form oil. Post-Pour After products are stripped from the forms, they are inspected for conformance with the design. Post-pour inspection records are kept on file for a minimum of three years.
