Manholes

The Scotland sewer project is part of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sewer Rehabilitation project. The EBR Rehab project is a federally mandated $1.8 billion upgrade to EBR’s crumbling sewer system. The massive upgrade calls for 48,000 manholes and 450 pump stations. Currently, the Scotland project only calls for 12 manholes, but more may be added as they renovate.
In order to supply the sewer structures to this project, Gainey’s underwent a thorough submittal process to be approved to the EBR Qualified products list, including a lunch n’ learn at CH2M Hill to review our coating procedures.

During fiscal year 2006, Gainey’s Concrete Products received contract awards from West Feliciana Sheriff’s Department, J&W Contractors, and Town of Livingston.
