PROJECT DETAILS:

We are finished with production on the main Pump Station for the City of Gonzales. Pump Station #19 measures 18' x13'-6" inside dimensions and is being manufactured with 12" thick walls in 4' riser sections stacking up to 26' in height. The "pink" color of the riser sections is a property of the Xypex waterproofing admixture dosed into the concrete at 3.5% by weight of cement. The concrete strength specified and being achieved is 6500PSI at 28 days. All Precast Risers are now set at the jobsite. The first riser arrived onsite by 8:45AM and the last riser (#7) arrived by 3:00PM and was set by 3:50PM. For those of you who may be counting, that means we were shipping and L. King Company was setting 33,440 lbs per hour! Attached are photos of the entire process including shipping, unloading, sealant application, and setting.
