Position Available

* Estimator/CAD Operator (Full-Time):

 Job Purpose:

• To estimate and quote at least $300,000 per week

• To create and edit drawings for a precast concrete plant

 Personal Qualities:

• Organized & Manages Time Wisely

• Detail Oriented & Accurate

• Takes Initiative

 Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

• Takeoffs from civil engineering plans

• Estimate and Quote concrete structures

Drafting:

• Edit and/or create detail product Auto-CAD drawings including Commercial Sewer Treatment Systems & Large Custom Civil Engineering Structures

 Skills / Experience / Knowledge

• Auto-CAD drafting (Aptitude Test Required)

• Strong Math Skills (Aptitude Test Required)

• Technically minded in respect to industry

• Multi-tasking abilities are a MUST

• Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet software knowledge is a must

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work under time constraints and pressure

Additional skills/knowledge a plus but not required:

• Industrial or manufacturing experience

• Scheduling/ Project Management experience

• Some college education

• Collage transcript required

 * CDL Driver (Full-Time):

Manage delivery loads as defined and prioritized by delivery manager and senior management team. Deliver loads of precast concrete product with tractor-trailer truck to specified destinations within Louisiana and southern Mississippi while maintaining delivery schedule with as little deviation as possible. Coordinate, supervise and assist with loading flat-bed trailer loads. Load in plant and unload on jobsite all products with mobile crane when training is complete. Properly strap down all loads.  Communicate (verbally and written) to delivery manager, maintenance manger and fellow drivers. Maintain files on all vehicles & equipment. Conduct pre-trip inspections at the start of each shift.
